MY LETTER to The Hindu:
Dear Sir,
Subject: Apropos the Lead Article “An anti-terror law
that can be fine-tuned" by Mr. R.K.
Raghavan along with Mr. D. Sivanandhan, The Hindu, April 5, 2015
that can be fine-tuned" by Mr. R.K.
Raghavan along with Mr. D. Sivanandhan, The Hindu, April 5, 2015
While the whole world is critical
about this DRACONIAN LAW - “GCTOC” that has been recently enacted by the
Gujarat Government, including-The Hindu (Editorial-Dated April 3, 2015 that
specifically hits the nail on its head in its opening paragraph itself, by
stating the OBVIOUS TRUTH that:"The Gujarat Control of Terrorism and
Organised Crime (GCTOC) Bill 2015 carries disturbing echoes of draconian
anti-terror laws such as the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention)
Act (TADA)and the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA).Both were considered
failed experiments that led to gross abuse."), the Lead Article "An anti-terror law that can be
fine-tuned" by the very FAMOUS (AND to many, the VERY INFAMOUS) Mr. R.K.
Raghavan along with Mr. D. Sivanandhan, while not ENDORSING this DRACONIAN LAW
OPENLY, nevertheless CONCLUDES that it is VERY ESSENTIAL for GUJARAT to have it
for various IMAGINED / PRESUMED threat perceptions similar to the ones that had
lead to a SERIES of "FAKE ENCOUNTERS" as well as FALSE ARRESTS of Muslims
merely under suspicion, post 2002 Gujarat, Anti-Muslim Pogrom!

This OBLIQUE ENDORSEMENT by Mr.
Raghavan and partner, reminds one of HIS "CLEAN CHIT" that he had
provided to Modi in the GULBARG SOCIETY MASSACRE CASE (Ref. The 2002 -
Anti-Muslim Gujarat POGROM)!

The way Mr. Raghavan is coming up
with one article after another where he is either found endorsing some
CONTROVERSIAL POLICY or the other emanating from PRESENT BJP DISPENSATIONS,
whether ruling at the Centre or at some State, one is left wondering whether he
is desperately trying to get SOME POST RETIREMENT POSITION in Modi's increasingly Orwellian Set up?! AND why is
The Hindu publishing so many articles of this CLEARLY BIASED and PREJUDICED
writer?
