ANOTHER big SPIN has been on the RELATIVE GDP GROWTH being FORECAST for 2015-16 at 8 %!Every knowledgeable person once again knows that this is a BUNKUM FIGURE since this latest RECKONING of growth figures has JUMPED ROUGHLY by a WHOLE TWO PERCENTAGE POINTS due to another SLEIGHT of hand by SHIFTING the BASE YEAR with which you are comparing the YEAR on YEAR growth & HENCE what was 5.4 % GDP growth that was declared for 2014-15 has jumped to 7.4 % in the new method of Calculation & similarly if we were to TRANSFER back this projected figure of 8% GDP growth for 2015-16 on to the EARLIER BASE YEAR, this REDUCES to 6% that is not a VERY BIG JUMP from the 5.2 % GDP growth for 2013-14 under UPA-II with the SAME BASE YEAR REFERENCE?!
