Rishi Kapoor takes on Twitter trolls
after being slammed for 'beef eating Hindu' comment

While
many have criticised Maharashtra government's decision to ban beef in the
state, no one has been slammed for opposing the ban as much as Rishi Kapoor.
The actor waged a Twitter war after he tweeted out that he is a 'beef eating
Hindu.'

The actor also added that he will not kowtow to the 'dictates by bigots' and
will do as he pleases and urged the youngsters to do the same:
After Kapoor's tweets, Twitterverse went into a tizzy with many abuses being
hurled at the actor for supporting cow slaughter. Kapoor, unlike many, was
actually brave enough to confront the Hindu fundamentalists on Twitter and was
also engaged enough to reply to trolls. The actor wasted better part of
Monday and some hours on Tuesday, blocking abusive tweeple who lashed out at
him for opposing beef ban. He also went on a Twitter rant and posted the
following:
Kapoor is the only celebrity who opposed the beef ban on social media
site. Several other B-towners had previously spoken against it, with some
calling it 'communal politics'
I am angry. Why do you equate food with
religion?? I am a beef eating Hindu. Does that mean I am less God fearing then
a non eater? Think!!
